We are so grateful to be back at home!! First off I will say that we are all ok and our home is ok! Some people in this small area are not as fortunate and will never be the same after this horrible week. The loss of lives are the most devastating times that we can go through. Homes can be rebuilt, possesions can be replaced, those families who lost loved ones can never again be whole. We need to keep those hit by the storms in our thoughts and prayers as they try to rebuild their lives and bring back a normalacy that we all take for granted!! We are very blessed with wonderful friends who put us all up over the last few days!! Some that loaned us "shower time", a generator to keep our freezers going, and who took "custody of the kids"!! Thank you all so much for being so awesome!! It is a great feeling to know that you have those people around in your lives, your kids lives that blur that faint line of family/friends!! We are lucky enough to have a numerous number of those and I feel like we have "used" them all this week, haha!! Here are a few pictures that I took from the roads as we drove through some of the hardest hit areas. As we look at some of the homes, some just 3 miles from our own, I hurt for the families, but also pray that they will find the strength that they need to get up, dust off, and move ahead!!
