This and that....catching up

It has been forever since I sat down to blog. SORRY!!! I will honestly try to do better, soon, haha! Ball is still going on, full force. We have been so busy lately! It is also the time of year at school when field trips are going on. We have been at a tournament every weekend since what seems like forever! We are looking forward to school being out and going places to have a little fun!! Here are the pictures from Memaw's house on Mother's Day. The kids loved getting to be with Luke(Rachel's) and Abby(Chad's)!! William done the grilling for everyone. What a good guy he is!! Memaw loved everyone being at her house and all of the chaos that we all bring with us!!

Tornado

Here is a picture taken from the door of the High School. That is Ginger's Tahoe in the picture, she left it in a dead run to gather our kids up!!

Stormy Friday

Mother nature again decided to deal a deadly blow to Van Buren County. The storms came so close to our school and we were all dashing to take care of our kids and "adopted kids"! The fear of what could have been became even more real to me as I stood less than a quarter of a mile from school and stared at what used to be a wonderful horse farm and boarding stable, where sadly 7 horses had to be buried. Across the road used to stand a very busy feed store and mill, now unrecognizable to all. Sometimes things happen and you look around and it becomes so much easier to stand in awe of God's power! They can take the prayer out of schools, you can't take it out of the awesome teachers, administration, parents and children who huddled in those school buildings and prayed together to keep them safe!! The tornado turned just enough to miss our school and only leave slight damage. Yet, just down the road is utter destruction to homes, churches, businesses, and sadly lives. Please keep the families who were affected in your prayers as they try to rebuild their lives and regain some sort of normalcy!! Here are a few pictures from the farm and one of the feed mill across the road.

Dalton Day

Here are the pictures from Dalton Day!! It has taken just a few weeks to get them posted, sorry! I am sooo glad that it is finally here and gone!! MaKall's hair was out of control, haha! The way that it worked is, they auctioned off the hair and whoever was the winning bidder picked the cut!! Remember when you look at the pictures, "Bald is Beautiful"!
