Pictures from the Mosley Bunch.....

It seems that there is always somewhere to go or something to do at the Mosley house. Here are a few pictures of what's been going on around here. MaKenzie on top of Frosty, her favorite ride. MaKayla, Kelsey, and MaKenzie at the lake. MaKall showing off his favorite two things, catching fish and baseball. MaKayla and "her sweetie Dausen" at the lake.

MaKayla in the Medical Field

This week MaKayla had the opportunity to be involved with the CHAMPS program at Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs. She had a wonderful week and learned a lot. She is now CPR and First Aid certified. She was able to spend time in the ER, lab and radiology departments. She has always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and working along side her idol, Doc Williams. All five of the other kids accepted into the program this year are looking into the medical field as a career. The experiences she had this week are something she will hopefully carry with her, she is already talking about being a volunteer next year. They went to the local senior citizen center on one day and delivered the meals with the Meals on Wheels program. They wore glasses that would simulate drunkness (picture above) to allow the kids to have an idea of your lack of abilities after consuming alcohol. They learned to take blood pressure and heart rate. We owe a very special Thank You to "Cool Dana Williams", who was "the ride" all week to Champs. MaKayla let us know that if we were in trouble, she thought she could save us. I hope we don't need to find out.

The "BIG 30"

WOW!! I am officially 30. Not sure what all of the fuss was about, I don't feel any different. I don't think I look any different, but yet I do have an appointment to have my hair done today, or fixed as Ginger likes to put it. Not sure what that means, HAHA!! Funny how all of a sudden I am 30 and I need to have my hair fixed, not cut, colored, highlighted, but fixed. Maybe 30 did sneak up on me when I wasn't looking or when I was looking and just didn't have time to do anything about it. I just know that I would turn "the BIG 30" over and over if I could continue to have the same response. Thanks for all who called and emailed to wish me HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It was all appreciated. I had a wonderful day and actually I've had a wonderful week. It started on Saturday when my wonderful husband took me out (just the 2 of us, might I add) for the whole day and into the night. We just walked around some shops, done alittle shopping (mostly for the kids, imagine that), ate at one of my favorite places: The Outback, and just had some wonderful "alone time" that we never just take for ourselves. On Sunday afternoon I was blessed to get to spend it with some of my favorite people. We had a great cook out hosted by Tracy and Tim at their house, which we take over quite often with our "GROUP" who loves to get together to celebrate anything!!! Thanks to you guys, you mean so much to me and my family!! We had great food, a lovely cake (haha), some great gifts, and lots of fun and laughs!! It really meant alot to me for all of you to be there to "CELEBRATE MISTI", which I have informed some that I love it so much should continue all week and maybe into next month or year!! On Tuesday I was invited to lunch with "crazy Michelle", we had an awesome time at lunch and I talked her into getting her first manicure!! It was sooo funny! I was then taken to supper by Mom, William and the kids and given lots of wonderful gifts!! Thank you guys so much!! I feel so loved, I don't think turning 30 was so bad after all!! As a matter of fact I think I'll be 30 for at least a year!!
