Winter Wonderland.....Well, Sort Of !!!!

This was our "winter wonderland" for about half of a day. (haha) It was pretty while it lasted.

Christmas.........

Here is a picture of the kids at Christmas. Around here everything is done "whirlwind" style, even Christmas. The kids woke us up at around 3:45am on Christmas morning, yes, I was very excited to be up that early. Haha!! We had a wonderful Christmas and were very blessed this year!! Hope you all had the same!!

catching up......

I know, I know, where have I been and why haven't I posted in forever???? Well there has been a lot going on here. The girls have been having ball games. Both teams are still doing really well. MaKayla's team is 9-4. MaKenzie's team is 3-0. We are very proud of them!! MaKall has been a little sick with a horrible cough. He is better now and was able to go back to school for his Christmas party this week. They are slowly getting impatient waiting on Christmas to "finally" get here. I know it must seem like to a child that it will never come fast enough!! William and I went to his company Christmas party at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was nice and we were glad to go out together "alone". HAHA We also attended the annual "Smith" Christmas party!! WOW, what a great time!! I hope you all have a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!

Individually....

Basketball updates......

MaKenzie's team is now 2-0!! Last Saturday they came home with a fairly easy win of 28-12! Today was a little tougher game, 13-10! It was a really good game!! MaKayla has played four games this week, with three wins and a hard loss of 16-12 to Mt. View. The teams are doing really good and we are very proud of the girls. I have a hard time taking pictures of the games because, well you know me, I get a little worked up(HAHA)! I know, you are thinking, a little worked up is an understatement!! I am working on getting some pictures and when I do, I will post them.

Black and White Pictures

Here are a few of the pictures that I took of the kids on Saturday. I wanted to do black and white because I have never taken any of them. MaKall was worried because he did not have any black or white shirts (haha). I think that they turned out really good. I wish I could show off all of them, but there is not enough blog space!! They had gotten really tired of me moving their arms, hands, heads and changing their smiles by the time we were through!!

Doing what they love!!!

Just a cute picture that I took today of William, MaKayla, MaKenzie and MaKall going for a cold little ride.

Our Anniversary

On Sunday, November 25th, William and I will be celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary. It is amazing how time will fly!! It is also amazing that he still puts up with me, HAHA!! Here are a few pictures from that day!!

Black Friday!!!!!

The morning started off at the Mosely house around 2:30am. William and I had left the kids at memaw's house on Thursday night to get geared up for a big day of shopping. We arrived at wal-mart around 3:20, mapped out the store, saw where things were stacked and got our game plan in stone. We were ready for 5am to arrive. We were successful in all things we were after at that sale, now on to the next. We then went to Conway to hit a few stores, again more success. What next, Little Rock!! William was by then second guessing the answer, "sure baby, I'll go with you to do alittle Christmas shopping!" We made the rounds, stood in the lines and paid the bills. After our Little Rock stops there were a few items that I thought maybe some of the Conway stores may still have a few of. Yep, here we went agian. All in all we had a wonderful day of shopping and eating out and togetherness!!! HAHA!! After finally arriving home at 7:15pm, William allowed that it could have been alot worse days, at least we had alot of laughs!!! Happy shopping to you all!!!

Thanksgiving

There is not a enough time or space to tell all of the things that I am truly thankful for. Most of you know me and know that I am not a "mushy" person. Here goes a try at it: I am grateful/thankful for my amazing family and friends. Without them what would life be? I am thankful for my children, who are all actually really good kids. I am thankful for a happy home. I am thankful for the little things that we normally take for granted such as, laughing kids and friends, small towns, a loving husband and knowing we'll all get together for good times. Strange huh? That was my crack at being sweet. Now here are some other things I am thankful for.

  1. clean socks
  2. popcorn
  3. cheese
  4. hair gel
  5. sports
  6. loud music
  7. good books
  8. cameras
  9. funny dancing
  10. swimming pools

What a list huh? Ok, yes I am crazy. We all know it I have just confirmed it for those of you who were still deciding. I hope you all took the time to let those you are thankful for know it. Happy Holidays to you all.

Happy Birthday Ging!!!!

Monday the 19th is Ginger's birthday!! We all hope she has the "best birthday ever"!!

Catching Up!!

We have been really busy the last few weeks. We intend on taking this week to slow down a little bit. The kids are out of school for the week and I am soooo glad, they need a break. They got their progress reports on Friday and I am so proud to say everyone has all A's!! Are they great or what?! MaKayla's basketball team is doing well this season, and now MaKenzie has learned that she will get to play school ball this season. The fourth grade did not have enough girls to make a team and are picking up a few third graders. YEA!!! MaKall went to his first sorting this weekend. He really enjoyed it and loved the time with his dad!! We have a few basketball practices this week but other than that plan on just "hanging out"!!

Athletic Chili Supper

The athletic program hosts a chili supper every year for halloween. You come, eat chili, roam the halls to trick or treat and see all of the ball players dressed up. It is alot of fun!!! MaKall was his usual "rodeo clown", MaKenzie wanted to be a rodeo queen. Kaite was an awesome table for two, and Kelsey made a great lego. MaKayla and Dausen stepped back a little in time and looked very "groovy"!!!!

Fall Festival

Congratulations to MaKayla and Zach for becoming Overall Winners at the Fall Festival!! They worked hard at raising money and it paid off for them. Just look how grown up they look.....when did that happen?? WOW! We had comments of MaKayla looking anywhere from 16-18 years old!! HELP!!! Her hair and makeup was, of course, courtesy of GINRAE'S SALON!!! Thanks again Ginger!!!

Visual Poetry - ImageChef.com

This week.....

Wow! We are soooo busy. Last night was the South Side Blue/White game! The teams all played really well. We sold snow cones in the lobby and were, thankfully, very busy. MaKall's game for Monday night was rained out and we will play tonight at Greenbrier in the semi-finals of the tournament. If a win comes our way we will play again for the championship game on Thursday. We are also in the process of planning and putting together a Youth Rodeo that will be held Saturday, with a roping event to follow. On Sunday the goat, Freckles, goes to the state fair to be shown on Monday. On Monday night MaKayla plays ball at Guy. On Tuesday the pigs, Popeye and Pokey, go to the state fair to be show on Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday. MaKayla will also be playing ball at home on Thursday. Sorry about the delay in posting this last week, this is just a recap of how things are going around the Mosley's!!

The fair's in town.....or out of town !?!?!

We have been at the District Fair in Melbourne, Arkansas. Wow, what a place. We did learn some things in Melbourne. 1. It is hard to find a good place to eat in some places, Melbourne, is one of those places. 2. I, probably do not make the best chaperon, unless you are asking the kids. 3. You can put a lot of kids in a hotel room. 4. It is not hard to spend a large amount of money on cinnamon twist at Taco Bell. 5. The whistle goes, woot woot. (haha) It was a good week and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. The kids made a pretty good showing with the pigs, and now everyone is glad to be back home. We have two weeks until the State Fair. It is a little fast for us, Melbourne is more our style. I did not get any good showing pictures, I will get some posted as soon as I can get them. I have a few snapshots I wanted to share, snapshots are my favorites.
